There are two thousand prison inmates in the four locations in Enugu State of Nigeria.Over 70% of these prison inmates have no access to medical facilities.More than 85% are threatened by hunger and starvation.A visit to the prison locations especially the Enugu and Nsukka will produce some human skeleton walking corpses.The prisoners are under-fed ,denied medical facilities,soap,detergents,towels,even sanitary pads are luxuries and highly priced.
The Prison conditions are hellish with acute scarcity of basic necessities of life.The adverse implication is that there are many distressed souls crying for assistance and support from well spirited individuals and groups.This organization which is a non-profit,non secretarian,non denominational is organizing a charity for the prisoner.Your donation in cash or kind will throw smiles and hope in the faces and minds of these dying souls.Your support will relieve the anguish and pains of these prisoners.
